About Us

Sanskriti Kalakendram (Centre for Fine Arts ) is an arts and cultural academy dedicated to the preservation of traditional values in Indian art and crafts. Based in Tripunithura, the academy was founded in January 2012 and now we have four branches in and around Kochi.

Mr Nikhil Palluruthy (Grandson of Late Kunjan Velu Bhagavathar , first guru of Padma Vibhooshan Dr. KJ Yesudas ) is the director of Sanskriti Kala Kendram which is under Sri Kunjan Velu Bhagavathar Foundation.

The objective of the Centre is to instill in students appreciation for the classical art forms and also pursue it to the best of their abilities.
